Our main bedroom was the first space we decorated when we moved in. We knew we’d need a nice, relaxing, cozy space to CHILL while we gutted the rest of this god forsaken place. I love our spring and summer decor, which you can see on my pinterest here, but wanted cozy fall bedroom decor for autumn. Everything we used is budget friendly, quick and easy shipping, and super comfy. Don’t blame me if you never get out of your bed again; you’ve been warned!
FALL BEDROOM DECOR: THE ACCESSORIES
Pillows: God I LOVE pillows. If my husband ever murders me it’s 100% because I bought one more pillow and he snapped. #worthit. I got the plaid faux fur at homegoods but here is a great dupe. And can’t forget these soft & gorgeous faux fur pillows – linked here and here and under $30!
Throw blanket: My biggest issue with throws is that they are sometimes too heavy and (1) make me too hot and (2) collect the lint and dust as they just lay around the house. Not this one. It’s warming but very lightweight and the fabric doesn’t collect any unwanted dirt. And for less than 30 bucks on amazon prime it’s a STEAL.
Slippers: While not necessarily home decor, a cute pair of slippers is essential to complete peak cozy levels. Make sure to find a pair that goes with your new found hygge! Some of my favorite are these, these, and these (size up on these.)
Towel warmer (not pictured): Hear me out. Towel warmers are great in general, but especially when it’s freezing out and all you want after you rush out of the shower is a hot hug from a warm towel. Now imagine that goodness… on your BED! Use the towel warmer in your room to make those blankets extra warm and extra extra cozy!
FALL BEDROOM DECOR: THE NECESSITIES
Our Tufted Nailhead Headboard: my exact one is currently sold out, but here is a chic alternative under $300! Constantly getting compliments on it, goes well with basically any and all bedding, and looks CHIC af. Also love this target dupe for less!!
Mirrored Nightstands: Y’all keep selling out my bedroom sets! My actual nighstands are on backorder so I’m linking these instead. They are GORGEOUS and go with any decor. I love to add fall touches like these pumpkin candles and this pampas grass.
Our Sheets: My bestie and her boyfriend started the BEST sheet company, Hoot! They are 100% sustainable and made of renewable and reused materials and they are SO DANG SOFT. By far the nicest sheets we have ever owned & 1% of their profits get donated to environmental non-profits. Do good, sleep better!
