I’m so excited I finally found a round up of the hottest winter coats… on sale!! If you’re anything like me you always plan to shop for your winter coats in the spring. Yes, spring. As all budget-conscious fashionistas know, when temps finally break 60, the coats are finally on sale. Problem is, the cute styles are usually sold out by then, and who even knows what will be ~in~ next year. Thankfully this year Macy’s is having a huge winter coat sale! Bonus: they’re slashing prices on tons of brands that aren’t typically included (ex: Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors.) Don’t worry, I’m also linking non-Macy’s options below too!
Under each photo I’ve rounded up my favorite coats. These aren’t just trendy items that will be wasting away in your closet by next year; they are timeless styles. All of the options I’m rounding up are favorites of mine for different reasons. To me, winter coats are important investment pieces because for 3-6 months they basically ARE the outfit! They’re the first, and sometimes only, thing people see. My favorites for true warmth are long and short puffer winter jackets. There’s truly nothing that keeps you warmer. For a date night I love a wrap camel coat, maybe something with a *touch* of faux fur. And for work or dinner with friends I love a sleek wool jacket or timeless pattern like herringbone or plaid.
